Daiy Dose of Cuteness

I haven't posted in a while because things have been pretty uneventful and crazy at the same time. Does that make sense? I have been working on some projects around the house which I hope to finish this weekend. I have also been thinking about going back to school. I love my job and I love what I do. But lately it just seems like I am becoming burned out. I was told that when I began my job that it is stressful and after a few years I will become burned out. So I am in the midst of researching grad schools and figuring out how I can live without income for 3 semesters! I am thinking about getting my masters in teaching. If I had it all to do again I would have just gotten my under grad in teaching. Hindsight is always 20/20!

I have had time to snap some ridiculously cute pics of Paco and Heidi though so without further ado here are the two cutest dogs ever...

Busy Busy Busy

I have been pretty busy these past few days but now that the weekend is here I intend to reeelax! As promised I took some pics of the garden...

Most of the plants my dad started from seed, which was a big help for us! We only spent around 30 dollars for all the plants. 

Our hot pepper plants already have peppers!

I can't wait until we have tons of fresh produce from our garden and don't have to buy any! I feel like I am finally getting our grocery budget under control. Tonight I went to Aldi's and spent 25 dollars which should last us through the week with the exception of buying a bulk bag of popcorn kernels tomorrow and possibly some sour cream (which aldi's for some reason doesn't sell)

Heidi had a burst of energy the other night while we were watering the garden. Sometimes it is hard to believe she is almost 10 years old. She does good for an old girl!

Tomorrow we are off to Ikea to buy a couch. Im sure it will be a fun trip. Ikea is hands down my favorite store in the world. If I had 3 wished it would be to end hunger, create world peace, and have a shopping spree at Ikea. Ahh in a perfect world...

So I have basically not blogged for about 2 months. I really need to work on my comitment issues. But as you can see from these photo's I've been busy...

And making the best ever vegan cauliflower soup!

(it doesn't have a recipe but basically I boiled cauliflower, onion, and a turnip in vegetable stock until it was a very soft then blended it in a blender. Then I added it back to the pot and added a little more vegetable stock to thin it out.. It was AMAZING!

So my new resolve it to try and post something every day! I have also decided to go on a hard core saving spree. Similar to my old spending spree's except instead of getting things in exchange for money I will be getting money and then getting more money and then eventually I hope to get this...

And then turn it into something like this...

And then rent it out in order to make a profit... and never have to work again!
